I left home too early in the morning Saturday to go down to the river and photograph people in gorilla suits running a 7k to raise awareness about the plight of endangered mountain gorillas. Photographing the run itself, it was hard to make a different looking picture but I really enjoyed meeting participants after the run ended.

I shot my first editorial self-assignment in England today. I was checking out the Time Out listings around 10:45 am and saw that a free equinox celebration was scheduled for 1 pm at Primrose Hill so I threw my camera in my bag and rushed over.

I developed my first Holga roll, shot on a camera lent to me by my friend Sarah Whitmeyer four years ago. I'm sorry I've never used it before. Especially sorry for stealing it and then not using it.
I'm trying to avoid falling into the trap of thinking that it is wonderful because it is different but there is just so much fun in the simplicity and the unexpexted (read having excuses).
